About Ambry Design

Ambry Design is a licensed General Contractor and design-build remodeling firm serving Tampa Bay homeowners for over 30 years.

We design and build kitchens, bathrooms, and full-home renovations under one roof — one team, one process, and one standard of craftsmanship from the first consultation to the final walkthrough.

Every project we complete is backed by a lifetime warranty, because we don't build things we aren't prepared to stand behind.

Our Design-Build Philosophy

Most remodeling experiences go sideways the same way — too many separate parties, each responsible for their own piece, and no single person accountable for how it all comes together.

The designer hands off to the contractor. The contractor coordinates the trades. And somewhere in those handoffs, the vision gets diluted, the timeline slips, and the homeowner is left managing the gaps.

At Ambry Design, the team that plans your project is the team that builds it. Design and construction are a single, integrated process — managed by one accountable team from the first consultation to the final walkthrough.

Decisions get made faster. Miscommunications are eliminated before they become expensive. And the finished project reflects what was actually planned — not a compromised version of it.

For Tampa Bay homeowners, that level of coordination isn't a luxury. It's the difference between a remodel that holds up and one that doesn't.

What Sets Ambry Design Apart

In-house millwork and fabrication

We operate a 30,000 square foot millwork facility through our manufacturing partner QZ Direct. Custom cabinetry, closets, millwork, and architectural elements are built in-house — not sourced from outside vendors — which means tighter quality control, better lead times, and craftsmanship held to our own standards at every stage.

A structured, six-phase Design-Build process

Every project follows a defined process: in-home consultation, precision estimates, design phase, production coordination, installation, and final warranty. No improvising, no vague timelines — a clear sequence that keeps the project moving and the homeowner informed at every step.

One dedicated team per project

The same people who sit down with you in the consultation phase are the ones who see your project through to completion. There are no hand-offs to a crew you've never met. Continuity of team means continuity of standards.

Investment-driven planning

We think about every material specification, layout decision, and finish selection through the lens of long-term performance. What will hold up in Florida's humidity? What will lower your maintenance costs over time? What will strengthen your home's value — not just its appearance? Those are the questions we ask before anything gets specified.

A lifetime warranty

We stand behind our work long after installation is complete. That isn't a marketing statement — it's a commitment that shapes how we build.

Clean, respectful job sites

Your home is treated with care throughout the entire project. Every day we're there, we clean up after ourselves. Every decision we make on site reflects the fact that we're guests in your space.

Process Built Around You

Every Ambry Design project follows the same six-phase process — not because it's bureaucratic, but because a defined structure is what keeps a remodel from unraveling. It protects your timeline. It protects your investment. And it keeps both sides accountable to what was agreed on before construction ever begins.

Streamlined design-build process diagram showing consultation, estimating, design, production, construction, and warranty by Ambry Design in Tampa Bay
  1. Initial In‑Home Consultation – We start by listening — how the bathroom gets used, what's not working, and what you want it to become. The more openly we can explore that together, the better the outcome at every phase that follows.
  2. Precision Estimates – Before anything moves forward, you'll know exactly what you're committing to. Detailed estimates based on real scope and real materials — no vague ranges, no numbers that change mid-project. A remodel is a significant investment. You deserve clarity before you say yes.
  3. Design Phase & Design Agreement This is where your vision takes shape. Layouts, material selections, finish details, and every design decision are developed and reviewed until the plan is exactly right. Once the design agreement is signed, that plan becomes the single source of truth for the entire build — protecting your vision and our execution equally.

4: Production Phase (Pre-Installation Agreement) Before anyone picks up a tool, materials are ordered, trades are scheduled, and every moving part is confirmed. For most homeowners, this phase is invisible — but it's what keeps projects on time. The decisions made here determine whether your project runs smoothly or doesn't.

5. Installation & Construction - The plan gets built. Every space, every system, every finish detail — executed by the same team that designed it, held to the standards set in the design phase. One team, full accountability, no handoffs.

6. Lifetime Warranty - The project doesn't end at installation. We stand behind our work long after the final walkthrough — because work built to last should be warranted to match.

We ask our clients to bring the same commitment to this process that we do. The homeowners who get the best results engage clearly, make decisions when they're needed, and trust the process they've hired us to run. When both sides show up, the results speak for themselves.

Meet the Designers Behind Your Project

Every Ambry Design project is led by a designer who brings both technical expertise and a genuine investment in getting your space right. Our designers work with you through the full design phase — translating your goals, your lifestyle, and your home's architecture into a plan that performs as well as it looks.
They're not just picking finishes. They're making decisions that affect how your home functions, how it holds its value, and how proud you'll be of it years from now.
