Remodeling Contractor in St. Petersburg, FL
Your St. Pete home,
rethought.
Kitchens, bathrooms and whole homes, designed and built by one licensed team from Largo, just up the road.
Old neighborhoods, new ways to live.
St. Pete has neighborhoods where early-1900s homes sit a few blocks from brand-new builds. Roser Park, one of the city’s historic districts, broke ground in 1911. Whatever the age of your home, a good remodel starts with how you live in it now.
Ambry Design LLC is a licensed general contractor and design-build remodeler (CGC1526762) based just up the road in Largo. We design and build kitchen, bathroom, Full-Home and commercial remodels for St. Pete homeowners and businesses, with one team owning the project from the first visit to the final walkthrough. Family-owned and operated in Largo since 2009.
Your cabinetry isn’t ordered from a catalog. It’s built for your space in the family’s own Largo factory, QZ Direct.
Planned for St. Pete homes.
Older homes, planned honestly
Early-1900s homes in neighborhoods like Roser Park, on the National Register of Historic Places since 1998, can hide old wiring, plumbing and framing. We plan for what the house may need before construction starts.
The 49% rule in flood zones
St. Petersburg sets its substantial-improvement threshold at 49% of a structure’s market value, a point under FEMA’s 50%, and counts the cost cumulatively. In a flood hazard area, crossing it can mean bringing the whole home up to current code, which may include elevating it. We check it before the plan is final.
City or county permits
Homes inside city limits are permitted through the City of St. Petersburg. Homes in unincorporated Pinellas County go through the County. As a licensed general contractor, we pull the permits and handle structural work.
Built for the climate
Materials, hardware and finishes chosen to hold up to Gulf Coast heat, humidity and salt air, not just to look good on day one.
One team, start to finish
The people who plan your remodel are the people who build it, so nothing gets lost between design and construction.
Just up the road
Our team and your cabinetry come from Largo, a short drive north of St. Pete.

St. Pete questions.
Do you work in St. Petersburg?
Yes. We’re based just up the road in Largo and remodel homes and businesses across St. Pete and the rest of Tampa Bay. We serve all of Tampa Bay within 50 miles of our Largo office.
How much does a remodel cost?
Every project is quoted on consultation. Price depends on the size of the space, the layout, the materials and what’s behind the walls, so we price your project after an in-home visit instead of guessing from a list.
Do you offer financing?
Interest-free financing available. Ask about it at your consultation.
Do you handle permits for St. Pete homes?
Yes. As a licensed general contractor (CGC1526762), we pull the permits and handle structural work. Permits go through the City of St. Petersburg or Pinellas County, depending on where your home is.
What if my home is in a flood zone?
St. Petersburg uses a 49% threshold for substantial improvement. If your home is in a flood hazard area, we factor that into the plan from the start, so there are no surprises at permitting.
What happens at the consultation?
We visit your home, listen to what isn’t working, look at the space and talk through options. Then we put together a detailed estimate based on real scope and real materials.
